:: The Fake American Dream ::

Here's a question for anybody that might be listening. Can you really move out of the economical class your born into? You see I was told by a doctor friend of mine that being a doctor is becoming something that only the children of the rich or well off are going to be able to do in the future...that med school is getting so expensive and so hard that only children who are born into white collar upper class families will be able to achieve it.

So I guess the rest of us who are born in to poverty are going to have to settle for jobs such as flipping burgers at McDonalds or delivering pizza for a living. God forbid we would ever dream of being something out of our class. We just don't deserve that do we? It's sorta like the American dream doesn't really exist and you have to be born the son of a President to become a President.

It's sad and heart breaking...the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. If you're born with nothing you'll always have nothing. You'll never have a life any better than what you're born into, and your kids will suffer the same fate. There is no American Dream. That's all a fairy tail your parents tell you when you're a child to feel better. If you're born in poverty in this country you'll most likely stay there.

And I guess that is my depressing words of the day.
